I would like to share my very positive experience with Martin and Judy. Given that we were in a new house, our backyard was a blank canvas and we needed to create some serenity and privacy to enjoy our outdoor space. Enter Martin; he was very knowledgeable and collaborative in his approach and subsequently provided two designs for our backyard. We chose one, which we thought best suited our needs, incorporating berms for the evergreens, lovely plantings around the garden to create the feel we were looking for. Martin.. and Judy.. constructed our Pavillion kit to finish of our backyard and did a great job. We highly recommend them.

We couldn't be more thrilled with how our back yard landscaping turned out. Our flat, rectangular, and boring yard needed shade, privacy, and more than anything - beautiful design - since the yard is in full view from our large wall of windows.
I found it hard to articulate what I wanted but Martin took the time to talk with us, somehow interpreting all our disparate ideas and creating something better than anything we could've imagined.
Using little more than a spade, Martin quickly transformed our small yard with berms, trees, new garden beds, a patio, and walkway that add texture, movement, height and curves. He provided thoughtful and outside-the-box design along with rich expertise on how to properly care for our trees. He also allowed us a degree of flexibility so that we could finalize certain elements as we went along, which was helpful.
We're looking forward to using our yard, which will be a first since moving in 7 years ago! We're so grateful for having had the opportunity to work with Martin and Judy.

Judy and Martin, we love the new patio! It is a serene and lovely spot, with a new perspective on the house and garden. The raised bed is producing salads already, and the carrots, cucumber, peppers and tomatoes are growing well, safe from bunnies.
It is amazing how transformed our garden is now, from where we started years ago. We get so much joy from it all year around, but especially in spring and summer. Terry keeps saying, "This is paradise!" and it is.

Working with Martin was a special experience, he is a deep listener and his style is to create a landscape that you will personally connect too. I initially consulted with Martin to get his advice on what trees to plant in my front yard. He came up with an intuitive "design"/idea that far exceeded my expectations. My wife and I used Martin and Judy to recreate our front and rear yards in 2018 and we were very impressed with how well they both turned out! Honestly, we really didn't know "what" we wanted but knew we wanted something unique. Martin was able to help us come up with a playful and creative design that worked really well for us that we never would have thought of on our own. His knowledge about landscaping, shrubs, trees and design is vast and really helpful when planning a design. We always received friendly service and prompt responses to questions we had or changes we wanted to see made. It was a significant investment in our property which will certainly pay off when we are ready to sell, but also has added so much "living value" to the place we call home. We'd had other landscapers come up with designs in the past but they all seemed cookie-cutter and rigid, something we'd seen way too many times before. Martin's approach to design is very unique and intuitive, visually pleasing, while at the same time remaining practical. He never tried to oversell us on anything and we actually came in well under budget on our spend which allowed us to add a beautiful and functional patio in the rear we hadn't previously planned. The pocket landscapes we were given add so much life to our yards and have given us something to nurture and watch unfold as they develop.
