Pocket Woodlands™ Workshop - Arboretum University of Guelph - April 28, 2018
Trees seem to be mysterious and often leave us with more questions than answers. During our 3 hours together, we will explore more recent knowledge about trees and come to an understanding of how trees prefer to live when given a choice. How can we help trees to be healthy and long lived? We will be introducing the concept of a Pocket Woodland™ – what it is and the benefits it offers. This will give each of us a picture of how to create our own personalized woodland (any shape or size) in an urban environment. Horticulturalist / Arborist: Martin Ford.
